How Can We Help?

An OSHA Outreach Card is granted to individuals that successfully complete an OSHA Outreach Training Program class. CareerSafe, an OSHA-Authorized Online Outreach Training Provider, offers OSHA 10-Hour Construction, OSHA 10-Hour General Industry, and OSHA 30-Hour Construction online courses. In order to obtain an OSHA card, an individual must successfully complete the entire class, including all requisite topics, the minimum number of contact hours, pass the final assessment, and submit a course survey.

Most OSHA cards are shipped within two business days of course completion to the shipping address of the person who purchased the course. Due to OSHA requirements and processing time, it may take up to four weeks for a card to be delivered; however, most cards are delivered within seven-to-ten days after course completion.

If you took the course as part of a class, then your OSHA card was shipped to your instructor. Please contact your instructor if you did not receive your OSHA completion card.

You must complete all topics, pass the Final Assessment, and submit the Course Survey to complete the OSHA course. If you haven't received your OSHA card, make sure that the course status in the CareerSafe Campus shows as Completed. An OSHA card will not be sent until the course shows as completed.

OSHA guidelines allow one reprint of your OSHA card if your original was lost, damaged, or stolen. You can also request a reprint if you need to request a name change because the name printed on your card was misspelled or your legal name has changed.

Most of the time, this error message shows up because someone is either entering an incorrect email address or has forgotten their password. You can reset your own password if you know the email address tied to your CareerSafe account.

As an instructor or administrator, you have the ability to enroll students in course seats that you own in one of three ways:

• you can invite students to enroll using a teacher code;
• enroll a single student using the Add Student tool; or
• upload a spreadsheet to bulk enroll students with the Student Enrollment Tool.

OSHA mandates that a student has only three attempts to pass the final assessment in an OSHA course. If the student fails their three allotted attempts, then the student will be placed in remediation. If a student is in remediation, an instructor will see a “Students in Remediation” section on their CareerSafe Campus homepage. If this is the students first time in remediation, the instructor can reset the student's course for a free, one-time retake of the OSHA course. (Note: resetting a student's course will clear their progress and they will need to repeat the full course.)
