CareerSafe, Safety Education for America's Future™, is excited to provide a scholarship opportunity for students. Students are encouraged to create a short video demonstrating safety in the workplace. The top 3 winners will receive scholarship prizes and a trip to National SkillsUSA in Atlanta over the summer.

First Place:

Get Ready for the 2021-2022 Video Contest!

The CareerSafe National Video Contest officially opens on October 1st, 2021 and lasts through March 1st, 2022. All contest and scholarship information, including submission, will be located right here on this page.

Submission Guidlines

In order to participate in the 2021-2022 CareerSafe Video Contest, all entrants must follow the exact submission guidelines listed below. Students who do not follow the submission guidelines will not be qualified for judging.

For official qualification:
  1. Your video must either be submitted online through the CareerSafe website or sent by mail to the CareerSafe main building. If you are sending by mail, your video must be included on a USB flash drive, and postmarked by March 1st, 2022.
  2. Videos must be 30-120 seconds long (0:30 to 2:00).
  3. Videos must be exported in one of the following video codecs: .MP4, .AVI, .MOV.
  4. Videos must be a minimum quality of 720p resolution, preferably 1920x1080 pixels. If you are filming with a smart phone, record the video horizontally, and not vertically.
  5. The video must convey a message related to youth safety in the workplace.
  6. Your video must not have been previously submitted, distributed, aired, or have won any other award in any other competition.
  7. Your video must not include any names of students.
  8. In addition to your video, your submission must include an Official Entry Form and a Official Liability Release Form.

Winners will be announced June 2022 at the opening session of the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. Students will be invited on a trip paid for by CareerSafe to be recognized on stage and accept their check.

If you want to submit online:
Submitting online is easy. Simply use the file uploader to the right, and submit your video, your entry form, and your release form. CareerSafe will contact you if you are missing any required forms.


If you want to submit by mail: 
If you would prefer, you can submit your video scholarship submission by mail. Upload your video to a USB, and attach the official entry form and consent and release from liability form. You can mail the envelope to CareerSafe, at: 1005 University Drive East, College Station, TX 77840.
