NCCER Forms Partnership
with CareerSafe

NCCER is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) education foundation. Contact NCCER

With the joint goal of building a safe workforce, CareerSafe is proud to announce its partnership with the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER). This collaboration will not only ensure that trainees and students in the United States have access to affordable safety training but will allow organizations and companies to track qualifications within NCCER's Registry System.

“For the first time, students will have their OSHA training recognized within the NCCER Registry. By partnering with CareerSafe, programs which may not have access to an OSHA-certified educator are able to ensure their students receive training resulting in their OSHA 10 card.”
– Jennifer Wilkerson, Vice President - Innovation and Advancement of NCCER

“This partnership is a natural fit, we both want to work to educate and train young workers to be better prepared for success in their career pathways.  We want to ensure that these students have a foundational understanding of safety and health related hazards that they’re going to encounter in the workplace.”

– Dr. Larry D. Teverbaugh, Founder and CEO

NCCER is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) education foundation, headquartered in Alachua, Florida. Created in 1996 as The National Center for Construction Education and Research, it was developed to revolutionize training for the construction industry. This progressive program has evolved into curricula for more than 70 craft areas and a complete series of more than 70 assessments offered in over 6,000 NCCER-accredited training and assessment locations across the United States.

NCCER develops standardized construction and maintenance curriculum and assessments with portable credentials. These credentials are tracked through NCCER’s Registry System that allows organizations and companies to track the qualifications of their craft professionals and/or check the qualifications of possible new hires.

NCCER’s workforce development process of accreditation, instructor certification, standardized curriculum, registry, assessment and certification is a key component in the industry’s workforce development efforts.
