HOSA - Future Health Professionals

HOSA is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education (HSE) Division of ACTE.

HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.  Since its inception in 1976, HOSA has grown steadily reaching over 245,000 members through 54 chartered HOSA Associations. HOSA's mission is especially critical when considering the acute shortage of qualified workers for the health care industry. It is essential that the HSE-HOSA Partnership maintain its momentum and encourage all HSE instructors to integrate HOSA into their curriculum and classrooms.

Through a joint effort, HOSA and CareerSafe work to generate awareness that reflects both organization’s goals to educate and support young workers as they become more knowledgeable about their career field of interest as well as become more employable in the job market. To that end, for every OSHA 10-Hour course purchased using the HOSA referral code at checkout, CareerSafe donates to the National HOSA organization with a portion of it going back to the HOSA state association where the voucher was purchased.  Every June CareerSafe attends the National HOSA International Leadership Conference where CareerSafe had the opportunity to both exhibit and present which lead to many great new partnerships with HOSA educators across the nation.
