CareerSafe understands the importance of great educators in aiding their student’s development. Each year we receive nominations for educators that have specifically fostered a learning environment where safety takes center stage. The Safety Educator of the Year is recognized at the ACTE CareerTech Vision conference, and their classroom receives $5,000 to further promote safety education.
Lastly, CareerSafe has great partners with similar missions to knock out young worker injuries and fatalities and promote career and technical education in America. Since CareerSafe’s founding in 2003, we have worked with the following Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs): SkillsUSA, DECA, ACTE, NCHSE, FCCLA, OSHA Alliance, FBLA, FFA, CSN, and HOSA. CareerSafe believes in these organizations and their ability to help young workers reach their goals. To that end, CareerSafe has generously donated nearly $2 Million to these CTSOs as well as to students so that they may attend these vitally important national conferences.
‘No Job is Worth a Young Worker’s Life,’ and CareerSafe’s philanthropic efforts are an essential part of what we do. We look forward to maintaining these strong relationships and pursuing our shared passion in ensuring young workers are provided with safe opportunities to succeed in their future endeavors.
