CareerSafe Online Safety Awareness Training and the OSHA 10-Hour Training Courses!

The CareerSafe Online campus is the first of its kind. It is an interactive, Y2Y (Youth Teaching Youth) online program that addresses the high-priority safety training needs of young workers. Throughout the program, students explore a wide range of topics including laws, guidelines, behaviors, and equipment intended to help them Start Safe and Stay Safe.

Once a student successfully completes the online CareerSafe Online Safety Awareness Training course, he or she receives a wallet card that demonstrates that the student has the fundamental safety knowledge needed in the workplace.

The OSHA 10-Hour General Industry and OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry training courses use the same interactive Y2Y design as CareerSafe, but these two courses go more indepth into specific OSHA Regulations and Industry Standards.  The OSHA 10-Hour training courses allow students to get the same workplace training as adults along with their OSHA -10 Hour wallet card for a fraction of the price.

Course Description:

The CareerSafe Online Safety Awareness training course consists of 10 interactive modules covering the most common safety concerns in the workplace. There is a simple assessment at the end of each lesson to reinforce the module content. The modules include:

  • StartSafe. StaySafe.
  • Preventing Falls
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Electrical Safety (Part1)
  • Machine Guarding
  • Hazard Communication
  • Ergonomics
  • Preventing Workplace Violence
  • Emergency Action

 

The OSHA 10-Hour General Industry and OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry Course's include the above CareerSafe modules along with:

Cost:

The cost for the CareerSafe online course is $12 per student.

The cost for the OSHA 10-Hour courses is $18 per students. Additionally, for every student that completes the CareerSafe Online course, a $1.00 donation will be made to the SkillsUSA Youth Development Foundation.
